Good News:

I am now a Registered Provider with Bupa

You have health insurance with Bupa and want to start counselling - What next?

Step 1: Check your Cover

Does your cover include counselling sessions? If you are unsure give Bupa a call. Please remember that if your cover includes an excess you will need to pay for sessions until the excess is met.

Step 2: Get your Pre-Authorisation Code

Contact Bupa to obtain your pre-authorisation code, this lets me know that your sessions are covered by Bupa. You do not need to have a referral from a health professional in order to do this - you can self-refer for counselling.

Step 3: Get In Touch

You can get in touch with me through my website, email, phone or even my Facebook page. We can then schedule a consultation call. You can let me know at this stage that you have Bupa cover.

Step 4: The Consultation Call

I have a brief call with every prospective client (not just those coming to me via Bupa). It gives us the opportunity to discuss what has brought you to counselling and to ensure that how I work is the right fit for you as well as ensuring I have availability that suits you.

Step 5: The Initial Appointment

We will sign the counselling contract - I'll send this to you in advance of our session so you can have a read through it. We will go through any questions you may have about the contract and discuss what you hope to get from counselling and what you wish to explore.

I know starting counselling can be a difficult this so please, if you have any questions, get in touch.
